| "the conductor is requesting police to meet the train at the station" is heard over the scanner as train 49 rolls through Whiting on its way to make a unscheduled stop at the train station...the dispatcher ask "what kind of cops? NS, or Hammond"...the conductor said "it dosent matter as long as I get this guy off my train, hes having a bad day and I dont want to have one" So the train arrives and no sooner than 5 minutes later two Hammond squads show up and take the man away. |
